Love.
Its been a while since I’ve last blogged and since a lot of people have blogged about their past year, I’ve decided to write a little something about mine. 2011 was definitely a great year for me. God blessed me with so much in 2011. He blessed me with a wonderful church, a college group, and amazing friends. He blessed me with a loving family. He helped me find my way in terms of school and my future career. He’ has blessed me and continues to bless me every day, but the biggest blessing of the year for me was that God blessed me with an amazing God fearing woman who I have definitely grown to love.
I can’t begin to explain how great our relationship is. Tomorrow will actually be our 17 months together and I can honestly say it’s only getting better each day. She understands me more than anyone and knows my tendencies and my daily habits. She accepts everything about me. She knows I hate talking on the phone and so we never do. She knows I need my space and time for myself, so she gives it to me. She never smothers me, but whenever I need her, she’ll be there faster than anyone. She keeps me in check when it comes to my faith in God. She continues to encourage me to grow with God. Everything we do together is memorable no matter what it may be. We can simply stay in a room all day with each others company and we would both enjoy it to the fullest extent. This whole time we’ve known each other, we have never got into one fight. That’s over 17 months we have never yelled or fought with one another. I’m not trying to say this to boast about our relationship, but that’s just how good we are with each other and how much we understand each other and our relationship. I know 2012 will be another amazing year for us. I love our relationship, but I love her even more.
So yes, this blog ran a lil long and may be a lil sappy, but hey, it’s the truth. My girlfriend is dope :)
